Are you looking for a fun night in Wake Forest? Firebox Theatre Company at the Graham will soon be a home for Zimbabwe's funniest export: Learnmore Jonasi

Whether it's telling stories about growing up in a small village in Africa, the differences between America and Zimbabwe, or what it's like to be an immigrant in the US Learnmore tackles every topic with a signature energy and laughter.

More about Learnmore

Learnmore Jonasi is a Zimbabwean stand-up comedian and actor. He stands at over 6 feet, his comedy is brought to life by past experiences, observations and his view (from the top) which elicit rib-tickling laughs, regardless of the crowd.

He has performed with and alongside the biggest names on the African Continent and performed in over 25 cities across 15 countries at various Theatres, Festivals, Comedy clubs, and on TV Shows. Most recently, he was the winner at the 2023 Boston Comedy Festival , 2023 audience choice Jersey City Comedy festival.

In 2019 he won the National Arts Merit Awards as the Outstanding Comedian of the Year, the Savanna Comic Choice Awards as the Pan African Comic of the Year, and he was the People’s Choice Award winner in Steve Harvey’s Stand Up Spotlight competition. He can be seen touring all over the United States since 2022.

Featuring for Learnmore is Jeff Fieldhouse

Jeff Fieldhouse is a Pittsburgh-based comedian who first started in high school & has been in love ever since! He also attended film school in Orlando Florida and is certified in pre/post-production. His podcast is called “The Babyface Assassin,” and he hosts an “All Art” show where they showcase comedy, music, and live art.

Guests may enjoy concessions including beer & wine. All profits go to the GJCAE 501(c)(3) for Firebox Theatre Company.

Main entry to the theatre is located through the furthest right door of The Cotton Company. An accessible entrance ramp may be found behind the building next to George's Pizzeria.
